As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:
- · Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders
- · Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed
- · Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations
- · Perform accurate image archival
- · Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media
- · Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient
Salary Range: $48.28 - $63.65 Hourly
Job Qualifications

- · Licenses
- o ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) – required
- · Venipuncture certificate – required
- · BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
- · Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program – required
- · AA or BS – preferred
- · Siemens experience – preferred
- · Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
- · Ability to identify contraindications for exams
- · Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
- · Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
- · Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
- · Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
