In this role, you’ll provide administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Care (CMO-AC), ensuring that they are appropriately informed and prepared for day-to-day operations and providing support for special projects. This will involve prioritizing tasks effectively and completing work in a timely manner. You’ll professionally represent the CMO-AC and Faculty Practice Group, using interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy to maintain professional relationships.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and process information, maintain a calendar, plan meetings, compose reports, etc.
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Manage documents and communication
- Maintain an electronic file system
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Coordinate travel
- Provide problem resolution and meeting support
Job Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Five or more years of experience supporting administrative functions at the executive level in a fast-paced environment required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools
- Exceptional writing and editing skills to prepare business correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports quickly and accurately
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to make travel arrangements and adhere to UC Travel & Entertainment policy
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to use BruinBuy, Travel Express, and other web-based systems. Working knowledge of University and Medical Center Purchasing, Accounting, and Payroll Policies and Procedures preferred
