Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Operations Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in maintaining/tracking RT related equipment and supply inventory to protect departmental and hospital assets.
  • Use hospital related business systems to assist in managing equipment purchasing.
  • Procure equipment as needed and will assist in product evaluations, annual inventory, and vendor meetings, utilizing their clinical expertise to make recommendations.
  • Manage the equipment lab technician’s performance and behavior.
  • Assist in hospital research and/or quality/safety initiatives that the department may be involved in.
  • Directly supervise the equipment lab technicians which include the following responsibilities:
1) Completing annual staff performance evaluations
2) Ensuring the department and organizational policies, procedures, goals, & objectives are enforced including disciplinary action as needed
3) Completing monthly staff scheduling


May work weekends and holidays if needed.
May be required to work in any area of the Health System.



Salary range: $112,900.00-$256,900.00 Annually 

Job Qualifications

Required:
  • RCP CA state license
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification (RRT)
  • Minimum of 7 years of respiratory therapy and leadership experience
  • BA/BS degree

Preferred:
  • ACLS
