Reporting to the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer of Quality, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and advancing a comprehensive pharmacy quality and regulatory compliance strategy across all UCLA Health patient care settings.This will include reviewing and evaluating pharmacy regulatory compliance controls and clinical influences to facilitate the provision of outstanding patient care. You will:

 

  • Develop and support policies/practices to ensure compliance with institutional, federal, and state regulatory guidelines
  • Foster a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
  • Serve as a positive role model for the department
  • Demonstrate effective, innovative problem-solving
  • Adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
  • Advance a patient-centric focus for treating illness with integrity, innovation and commitment

Annual salary range: $157,400.00 - $380,600.00

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Onsite)

Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and:

 

  • Three of more years of relevant pharmacy quality experience or completion of PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency program
  • Experience in pharmacy law, regulation, and compounding practices.
  • Strong judgment, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory and practice standards
  • EPIC/Care Connect proficiency preferred
