Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking a rheumatology-trained NP to share patients with clinician investigators at our Westwood site. This NP will not have their own panel but rather share a panel of patients and see patients in ambulatory setting. The NP will also assist with in-basket items. The NP will see existing and new patients for both urgent and routine follow up visits as deemed appropriate by clinicians.The NP will bill all direct patient care encounters.
Salary range: 

NP 2: $89.06- $127.19/hourly

NP1: $80.34 /hourly


Job Qualifications

  • MSN degree with a NP specialty 
  • CA RN and CA NP license -required.
  • National Certification in NP Specialty-required
  • BLS from ARC or AHA- required
  • State of California NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, National Certification (i.e. ANCC)
    NPI #, DEA #,
    Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
  • Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
  • Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
  • Ability to set priorities-required
  • Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
  • Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
  • will consider a new grad NP that has rheumatology training
  • NPI: less than 6 months exp
