Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Medicine is hiring an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support the overall management of clinical research studies and trials. This role assists the Clinical Research Coordinator and Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in executing key operational tasks, managing projects, and prioritizing workloads to meet critical deadlines. The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator will help plan and organize study activities, ensuring compliance with study protocols and all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced research environment.

Hourly range: $27.08-$43.55

Required:

  • Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.
  • Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.
  • Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
  • Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents. 

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Health Care Setting
