Are you passionate about leadership, patient care, and making a difference in healthcare? Join us at UCLA Health, where we are dedicated to excellence in patient care. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to lead our Immunogenetics day shift. 

As the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will lead a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our laboratory operations and upholding the highest standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include:

Supervise the daily operations of the Immunogenetics Lab, ensuring seamless workflow and optimal performance.

Implement best practices and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing procedures.

Provide guidance and support to a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Salary Range: $112,900.00 - $256,900.00/year


Job Qualifications

Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist (CHS) license and bachelor’s degree.

At least 4 years of experience working as a licensed CLS, along with 3 years of lab experience or training in immunogenetics, histocompatibility, or transplantation immunology under supervision in an ASHI-accredited or ARB-approved lab.

Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team, either as a team lead or supervisor.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to driving positive change and achieving organizational goals.

Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
