Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will perform routine cleaning, housekeeping and/or general maintenance duties, for the Hematology/Oncology community clinics.  Work individually maintaining assigned work area. 


Salary range: $20.05/hr - $25.91/hr

Job Qualifications

Required:

·        Knowledge of custodial safety practices and procedures.

·        Knowledge of custodial materials, methods and practices.

·        Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds. Willingness to contribute to cultural diversity for educational enrichment.

·        Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.

·        Ability to mix proper amounts of water/chemical solutions.

·        Ability to understand and follow instructions.

·        Ability to operate custodial equipment.

·        Ability to work without close supervision.

·        Ability to train personnel in custodial work.

·        Knowledge of department policies and procedures regarding personnel, supply and equipment, and custodial work.

·        Knowledge of inventory practices.

·        Ability to coordinate and plan for effective use of equipment, supplies and personnel.

·        Ability to resolve problems and complaints.

·        Knowledge of principles and practices of planning, organizing and general administration.

·        Ability to plan and direct custodial operations including determining work priorities.

·        Ability to bend, pull, and push as well as carry a minimum of 30 pounds
