Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Take on a rewarding and prominent leadership role in a Magnet® designated and world-class health organization. The Assistant Nurse Manger is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit.  The position is a combination of direct clinical care and administrative responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Required:
  • Current California RN license
  • BSN or MSN
  • Scrub and circulating experience required
  • 3 year recent Operating Room Experience, no Acute Care
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs.
  • Consistently achieves high standards in clinical duties and holds self to same standards
  • Effectively listens and communicates to peers both positive and constructive feedback
  • Consistently uses good judgment in making decisions
  • Develop rapport with patients, patients families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintains positive attitude towards unit and work, helping to build unit’s positive reputation
  • developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring, and documenting progress
