In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. You will assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education, patient intervention and promote effective working relationships.
This Clinical Nurse II of Radiology in involved in collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for pre/intra/post-operative areas for our ambulatory interventional radiology procedures and assist with other radiology modalities as required. Additionally, the position includes providing patient and family education, participating in research projects and quality initiatives to ensure safe continuity of care. This position also includes on call responsibilities. You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health.
*May rotate between Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley Hospitals to provide support as needed. On-Call responsibilities with the expectation of a 30-minute response time.*
Salary range: $62.43 - $92.81 Hourly
Job Qualifications

- BSN or MSN – required
- Current valid California RN license – required
- At least 3 years of recent Acute Care ICU, Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology procedural experience – required
- ACLS, BCLS and PALS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association – required
- Pediatric experience – strongly preferred
- CRN or CCRN Certificate – preferred
- Strong IV Skills – strongly preferred
- Ability to cover on-call with a 30 minute response time
- Able to cover all areas of Radiology, including the clinics and future radiology areas
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to remain focused in stressful situations, multitask and prioritize care when competing tasks arise
- Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
- Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
- Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
