Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Custodial Supervisor – You will assist in cleaning assigned areas, patient rooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, public areas, etc. as needed. Responsible for assisting in the training of new personnel.

Job Qualifications

  • Able to operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, shampoo machines, floor machines, and equipment for wall and window washing.
  • Sweep, strip, and wax floors.
  • Perform isolation room cleaning.
  • Complete high and low dusting.
  • Clean vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions.

  • Knowledge of proper use and storage of disinfectants, cleaning agents, detergents, and floor waxes is preferred. 

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
