Primary Duties and Responsibilities

You will administer and interpret the full range of audiological tests from comprehensive Audiological evaluation, immittance measures, otoacoustic measures, electrophysiological measures from differentiation of conductive, cochlear, neural hearing loss, and pseudohypoacusis. You will also be responsible for the following: 

  • Diagnostic services for all ages, including adapted audiologic evaluations and auditory electrophysiology (ABR and/or ASSR) and when indicated under sedation, at bedside or in the operating room.
  • Audiologic treatment including hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy determinations; fitting, verifying and validating amplification systems; patient and family counseling, and communication with other care-providers for child/adult.
  • Complete documentation reports of diagnostic and treatment services in a timely manner.
  • Provision of services in a manner consistent with CICARE goals and requirements.
  • Participate in Audiology, HNS and other medical staff teams to facilitate and promote best patient and family care.
  • You may be required to float to clinics in Santa Monica or Thousand Oaks on occasion.
Salary Range: $129,497.76-$170,881.92 Annually

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical audiology experience
  • California Audiology License
  • California Dispensing Audiology license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience with pediatric audiology including hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting, and auditory brainstem response (ABR) evaluations.
  • Ability to travel to Westwood, Santa Monica or Thousand Oaks as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent documentation abilities
  • Ability to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
