You will support patient nutrition services by assisting patients with meal selections and ensuring compliance with prescribed dietary requirements. This role handles inbound calls and in-person interactions, reviews and interprets diet-related reports and data, and verifies meal accuracy based on physician orders, allergies, restrictions, preferences, and medical needs. The Diet Office Assistant works closely with clinical and food service teams to ensure meal trays are assembled correctly and delivered safely, accurately, and on time in accordance with regulatory standards and patient care guidelines.
Salary Range: 26.37-34.83/hr

Ability to read and write in English
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Knowledge of basic math and measurement concepts
Understanding of therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions
Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with safety standards
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a professional, courteous, and positive manner
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate systems and documentation tools
