Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor (Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor II) is responsible for assisting with the clinical management and administrative coordination of the Westwood Internal Medicine multidisciplinary licensed ambulatory practice. This role combines direct patient care with administrative leadership, providing day-to-day supervision of nursing staff while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient-centered care.

The RN Supervisor serves as a clinical leader, resource, and liaison between providers, nursing staff, and administrative leadership to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and optimal patient outcomes.

Salary Range: $128,500- $298,100 / annually 

Job Qualifications

  • Current CA RN License 
  • BSN  or MSN 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 3 years of recent acute care or ambulatory experience. 
  • Direct supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Regulations and Protocols- preferred

  • Skills in coaching and assisting staff in:

               developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring and documenting progress

               implementing interventions that are pertinent to goals established in the plan of care

              evaluating the effective of interventions toward the attainment of established goals and

              recognizing the need to reassess or reset goal parameter
