Utilizing advanced predictive analytics and clinical surveillance tools to independently monitor, assess, and collaborate with bedside teams to rapidly intervene in conditions including sepsis, stroke, respiratory compromise, cardiac decompensation, and other emergent situations, helping to prevent further deterioration and improve patient outcomes.

Working in partnership with interdisciplinary care teams, the CST Nurse Supervisor evaluates clinical surveillance data, reassesses patient care plans, coordinates timely interventions, and communicates recommendations to support safe, high-quality care. The role also provides operational coordination for the Clinical Surveillance Program and Medical Emergency Team (MET), reflecting UCLA Health’s commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and delivering on one of the most trusted healthcare brands in the nation.
