We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for designated pharmacy location(s) at our Venice Family Clinic.  This role is accountable for the management, oversight and operations of the designated pharmacy location.  They will serve as a lead and is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and training of the pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and non-pharmacists assisting in the pharmacy and/or dispensary.  As a pharmacist, they will also dispense medications and provide direct patient care per their scope of practice.

Salary range: $174,998.62 - $217,528.67 Annual


Job Qualifications

Required:
  • Current and valid CA State Pharmacy license, and CPR certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Effective communication skills and bilingual Spanish oral language skills. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a pharmacist, including work experience and residency.
  • Current knowledge of outpatient pharmacy management.
  • Knowledge of principles and practice of supervision.
  • Knowledge of principles of inventory control, including efficient purchasing procedures.
