The ACCP is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients. Performs basic patient care skills with emphasis on airway management, follows infection control practices, positions, transfers and transports patients, assists in applying specialized client equipment, takes vital signs with emphasis on observing for respiratory depression and responds and reports monitor alarms, collects specimens, accurately observes, reports and charts, performs range of motion, assists with suctioning patients with post-op nausea, and elimination needs. Training of clerical staff, and not limited to preparing the bays for the following day.

- BLS Required
- CNA License Required
- Experience in a similar work environment is preferred.
- 2 years experience preferred.
