Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant III will be performing the analytical and administrative support functions for the Nursing System Float Team. You will play an essential role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting departmental initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Nursing System Float and broader health system
  • Delivering administrative assistance by managing communications, maintaining records, preparing reports, and handling day-to-day logistics 
  • Creating and implementing internal processes and systems to enhance communication, workflow, and organizational efficiency
  • Assisting in the development, organization, and execution of programs, events, and special projects
  • Coordinating onboarding and orientation of new hires, managing staff schedules, and other assigned duties to support the department
  • Providing general support to leadership and staff by assisting with ad hoc assignments, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and contributing to a collaborative team environment

Salary range: $29.42-$42.14 hourly

Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:

  • At least one year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal direction
  • Knowledge of University, Medical Center, and Department standards, policies, and procedures
