Our Administrative Assistant III will support the Breast Imaging Section by coordinating scheduling, confirming patient appointments and managing patient communications and records to ensure high-quality care. This role involves working closely with the Radiology Central Scheduling team, Radiologists, and external sites to maintain accurate patient data, secure necessary authorizations and ensure all imaging records are accessible. Responsibilities include advanced digital image management, such as image digitization, CD burning and quality assurance. You will oversee and update breast imaging databases to comply with regulatory standards and participate in continuous process improvements to enhance patient experience and scheduling efficiency. Additionally, the position assists with administrative tasks, correspondence, and provides executive support, acting as a liaison among various internal and external departments.

Salary Range: $29.42 - $42.14 Hourly

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in a Radiology Department with and HIS, RIS, iCAP, Microsoft Outlook, IDX, GE competent – preferred
  • Radiology scheduling experience – preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of personal computers, HIS, RIS, LORAD, PACSCUBE CD Burner, Array Digitizer
  • Medical terminology to a level permitting accurate preparation of scheduling patient procedures interacting with physicians, patients and staff
