Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The AN I (Lead Nurse) is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and administrative responsibilities.

Job Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with the following:

  • current valid California RN license, required
  • BSN or MSN, required
  • 2 years of acute nursing experience required
  • PTU/PACU or Critical Care experience preferred
  • Eye experience preferred
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • ACLS from American Heart Association required
  • PALS from American Heart Association required
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • CCRN, CAPA, or CPAN preferred
  • Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
  • Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
