As the Administrative Assistant III (AA3) you will be responsible for a full complement of Radiology front-end processes including reception, scheduling, image library and technologist assistant duties on a rotating basis.
As our Advanced Imaging Scheduler and PET/CT coordinator (Administrative Assistant III) you are responsible for scheduling advanced imaging for referring offices in the Santa Clarita, San Fernando and Conejo Valley regions. This role involves following up on necessary items for scheduled PET/CT cases, assisting technologists, ordering isotope tracers and minimizing waste and wait times. You are expected to rotate through our reception areas, perform patient registration and image library duties, obtain clinical information for patient appointments and facilitate in the insurance verification process. Receptionist duties also include greeting patients, ensuring smooth patient flow and managing appointment confirmations, while image librarian duties include handling hardcopy and digital images. You are expected to demonstrate flexibility and multitasking abilities while working collaboratively with administrative and clinical staff from Radiology and other referring specialties.
Salary Range: $29.42 - $42.14 Hourly
Job Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
- At least 2 years Radiology department experience - preferred
- Medical terminology to a level permitting accurate preparation of scheduling patient procedures interacting with physicians, patients and staff
- Skill in quickly assimilating and retaining a large body of financial screening and patient registration information
- Working knowledge of hospital/billing forms and the ability to explain services and charges to patients and/or family
