At UCLA Health, you can do all this and more with a primary focus in oncology patients. We are seeking an Ambulatory Oncology/Infusion Pharmacist for our Bowyer Infusion Pharmacy.  The Ambulatory Oncology/Infusion Pharmacist acts as the medication management expert by providing accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other clinical staff. In additional to verifying orders and making clinical interventions, the individual will also oversee compounding in alignment with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations, ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately and collaborate with members of multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient’s medication therapy.

 

Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays 

FTE: 0.8 (32 hours/week)

Hourly Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)

Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE



Job Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptionally-skilled and compassionate pharmacist with the following qualifications: 

  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
  • California Pharmacy license 
  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency or at least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncology
  • Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred
  • Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred
  • EPIC/Beacon experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations
