Primary Duties and Responsibilities

You will provide advanced data and analytical support to UCLA Health System. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Development and management of databases that support efficient workflow and adhere to the specifications of regulatory agencies
  • Provides data support to data-driven performance improvement projects within UCLA Health system.
  • Prepare reports and Tableau dashboards and presents findings to health system leaders and teams.
  • Manage data-driven projects and assists with the identification of critical issues and development of solutions using the PDCA and Lean methodologies.
  • Work effectively with minimum supervision as part of a team and work productively with the department staff while assuring the maximum use of technology to promote efficient work systems

Schedule: Fixed Hybrid

Annual Salary Range: $83,800.00 - $179,400.00


Job Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • BS degree in statistics, Business, computer science, mathematics, or quantitative analysis related field or equivalent experience
  • Advance skill in Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint
  • Have 2+ experience in Clinical Data Analytics, Statistics, and Quality Measures
  • Have 3+ experience in advance analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills                                      
  • Excellent understanding of the industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current healthcare industry
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment
  • Ability to think “outside-the-box” and be creative to accomplish departmental goals
  • Ability to prioritize work and remain detail oriented
  • Ability to lead System wide complex projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

PREFERRED:

  • MBA or MS in quantitative analytical fields
  • 3+ year in Python, SQL, and Tableau experience
  • 3+ year experience in healthcare industry
  • 1+ year experience in data science (AI/ML), data management and data analysis
  • 1+ year experience in project management
