Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Come join our Venice Family Clinic team to make a difference in the community. As a Call Center Representative you will receive guidance and direction from the Call Center Manager, and will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to perform a full range of duties, such as: 

  • Provide prompt and courteous telephone assistance to callers.  
  • Answer, screen and triage a high volume of incoming calls, verify eligibility, and schedule for multiple services across our Venice Family Clinic. 
  • Manage and respond to incoming messages from the patient portal. 
  • Contact patients to offer follow up appointments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $25.60 - $36.33 hourly 

Job Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a call center or in a medical setting that includes patient registration, appointment scheduling or health insurance enrollment or equivalent education/experience.
  • Good oral communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a team or independently. 
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and organize workload to optimize efficiency, and verify insurance coverage via the internet in appropriate websites.
  • Ability to type with speed and accuracy 45+ wpm.
