Join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Per Diem, where you will conduct various technical procedures in the Emergency Department, Anesthesiology, and Core Laboratory. Your primary duties include specimen processing, method development, testing across multiple areas such as chemistry, hematology, coagulation, immunoassay, and blood gases. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory instruments, performing quality control, calibration, reagent preparation, and data entry.

Salary Range: $70.94 - 70.94/hour

Job Qualifications

• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Demonstrated technical competence in high-volume chemistry/hematology

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as pipetting and computer data entry

• Two years of recent experience in a high-volume laboratory setting – preferred

• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
