Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join UCLA West Valley Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse Manager in Cardiology and the Cath Lab, where you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment.

In this vital position, you will support the clinical and administrative operations of Cardiology and the Cath Lab. Salary Range: $59.67-$138.60 Hourly

Job Qualifications

Required:
  • BSN or MSN degree
  • Current valid California RN license
  • 5 years recent acute care experience and progressive leadership positions
  • Nursing Professional Leadership certification (NEA-BC, NE-BC, CNL, CNML preferred) or obtain within 24 months
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association and ACLS
  • Knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with critical thinking skills
  • Expertise in patient care clinical services
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong leadership and clinical skills
  • Ability to create and maintain environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and achieve objectives
  • Skills in prioritizing
  • Ability to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate
  • Ability to inform and educate
  • Knowledge of Professional, and Regulatory Standards
  • Adept at using technology
  • Ability to use any equipment (machines, tools, office appliances or motor vehicles) required to do the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation per nursing policy, procedures, guidelines, or equipment manual directions.
