Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this important position, you will be responsible for the identification, collection, and entry of quality data for the Clinical Registries, Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs), and Hospital Acquired Conditions (HACs) program. This will involve applying your clinical knowledge to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. You will serve as a liaison between the clinical stakeholders, clinical registries, and outsourced registry contracts. You will support our Quality Vision to facilitate and improve clinical quality and patient safety outcomes for the communities we serve. You will also facilitate compliance with clinical quality regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety. This role is critical in helping us achieve our goal of becoming a transformative, high-reliability organization with an uncompromising focus on patient safety and clinical quality outcomes.

UCLA Health salary range for this title code is $112,900-256,900/annually. Please note that the department's target pay range is $150,000 - $178,000/annually. 

Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a strong, independent strategic thinker and leader with:

• Current California RN license

• BSN degree required - Master’s in a healthcare-related discipline preferred

• CPHQ Certification, highly desired 

• Three or more years of direct patient care/clinical experience, required

• Five or more years of quality/patient safety experience, preferred 

• Ability to supervise daily quality operations

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Experience using data to drive process improvements

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
