Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this Clinical Social Worker role in our Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital's Inpatient Unit, you will work with patients who are psychiatrically hospitalized. You will facilitate group sessions, assess new patients, engage patients in safety planning, create treatment plans, and ensure patients have safe discharge plans that will allow them to thrive once back in the community. You will work directly with patients, families, and a team of interdisciplinary clinicians and social workers.

CSW 2 Salary range: $47.79 - $57.09 Hourly

CSW 3 Salary range: $51.94 - $62.08 Hourly

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Social Welfare from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. LCSW eligibility within 1.5 years required.
  • Knowledge of community resources for persons with mental illness, understanding of mental health systems.

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.
