As the Data Systems Officer for the Medical Staff Administration, you will be responsible for spearheading the management and execution of all phases of MSA’s technical, data-based system projects from start to finish. You will also be responsible for:
• Projects with both internal and external MSA projects and large-scale enterprise business initiatives for UCLA Health.
• Maintaining and optimizing systems and migrate data and systems as needed
• Ensuring the integrity and completeness of data and workflows, manages and/or develops data practices, databases, and information systems.
• Designing systems, data products and/or data production processes while focusing on curation, exchange security, integrity.
• Serving as the lead System Administrator for MSA’s credentialing database (MD-Staff), overseeing all aspects of database management including troubleshooting, system upgrades, system configuration, data integrity, automation and optimization efforts.
• Assisting the MSA Director to deliver institutional data and reporting solutions related to credentialing and medical staff functions, including but not limited to peer review activities, JCAHO/NCQA compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
Salary Range: $102,500-$227,700/annually

We are seeking a self-directed, detail-oriented individual with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Three to five years of experience in data analytics, systems administration, or project management
- Ability to prepare models at varying levels of detail, such as broad conceptual planning models as well as detailed logical designs or dimensional models
- Expert skill in logical data design, data integration, and specification of data services
- Familiarity with data quality, governance issues, and requirements
- Expert knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards
- Expert analytical and design skills, including the ability to abstract information requirements from real-world processes to understand information flows in computer system
- Ability to effectively communicate with executive level management on a regular basis
