Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the NICU/Pediatric Dietitian/Supervisor and/or Chief Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for the preparation of breast milk and specialized formula per feeding orders, including recipe calculation, fortification, labeling, and delivery. You will also support patient nutrition services by obtaining and processing meal orders via telephone and ensuring diet compliance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, logging preparations, ensuring equipment cleanliness, and collaborating with clinical and foodservice teams to support patient care and satisfaction.

 

 

 

Salary Range: $25.11- $33.17 Hourly

 

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic math for weights and measures
  • Knowledge of use of gram scale
  • Ability to read and write English and to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions and formula recipes accurately.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use thermometer, calculator, liquid measuring equipment such as graduated cylinders, baby bottles, and syringes.
