In this ole you will oversee all aspects of patient care rendered by registered dietitians in the ambulatory clinic setting. The role will support the advancement of patient care through strategic leadership in clinical nutrition. Be an expert in managing nutrition services for complex GI conditions—including but not limited to IBD, celiac disease, and malabsorption syndromes, and more—while aligning clinical nutrition programs with broader health system initiatives and interdisciplinary care models. Adept at driving quality improvement, enhancing patient outcomes, and fostering collaboration across clinical, operational, and administrative teams. The role is expected to achieve organizational objectives through the coordinated achievements of subordinate staff, manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives set forth by the Clinical Programs Manager and Service Line Director. Ensures subordinate supervisors and professionals adhere to defined internal controls. Manages systems and procedures to protect departmental assets.
Salary Range: $102,500.00 - $227,700/hourly

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area from a regionally accredited university required. Master’s degree preferred
- 2 years of Ambulatory Clinic Setting Experience
- Current Registered Dietitian
In-depth knowledge of food, nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy principles.
- Knowledge of relevant medical center and UC policies and protocols. Knowledge of nutrition and dietary federal and state laws and regulations.
- Leadership skills in employee supervision and HR administration to effectively lead and motivate others. Conflict resolution skills to resolve personnel issues and counsel assigned staff to develop cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to collaborate within and across departments to coordinate daily activities and resolve problems. Interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with peers, patients, multidisciplinary team members, senior management, and assigned staff.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a complex, challenging environment. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility, anticipates and effectively handles change. Customer service orientation to respond quickly and with empathy to patient issues.
- Ability to organize operations in an efficient and effective manner through improving workflow systems and protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to listen actively, consider all points of view with an open mind, soliciting and incorporating ideas when appropriate.
- Ability to perform all commonly applicable functions in clinical documentation applications and nutrition department database technology. Knowledge of available information technology software in the nutrition field.
- Advanced practice credential (e.g. CNSC,CDE, CNSD, CSP, etc.) recognized by the American Dietetic Association
