Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Fellowship Programs Coordinator is responsible for the organizational management of the program’s operations including curriculum, facilitation of admissions and recruitment, student orientation events, and other operational activities for small to mid-sized academic or research program. You will be responsible for the administration of major program components and some or all of the program’s operational requirements. The Fellowship Programs Coordinator develops and organizes conferences and other public forums. You will work under the direction of Principal Investigator/Program Director and MSTP Administrative Director to establish program agenda and objectives. You are expected to act with an extremely high degree of independence in determining daily duties and program priorities


Salary Range: $25.95 - $54.50/Hourly


Job Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum one (1) year experience Admissions and recruitment management and/or Student advising.
  • Ability to work in diverse groups, including but not limited to students, staff, faculty, general public, and UCLA and external vendors.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle complex projects.
  • Must be capable of setting own priorities, multi-task, and focus on work in the midst of numerous interruptions to produce accurate results.
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines
  • Knowledge of educational software and platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze and seek solutions to enhance the user experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes, guidelines, and/or systems to improve efficiency and procedure.
  • Synthesize information from a variety of sources for compiling and/or presenting information for learners.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of department, organization, and University policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Knowledge of department and school/college general and major course requirements.
