Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position provides analytical and consultation support to the Human Resources team for various HR process, system and technology needs. The HRIS Analyst plays a key role in the ongoing enhancement of ServiceNow HRSD, from project planning and through configuration, testing, and deployment as well as ongoing support.  

·        Functions as a subject matter expert for HR processes and the ServiceNow HRSD platform; applies skills as a seasoned, experienced Human Resources professional with a broad understanding of HR process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures to support HR system optimization and efficient HR operations.

·        Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes business and user needs, documents requirements, and updates system configuration to meet end user requirements.

·        Plans and executes unit, regression and acceptance testing.

·        Functions as an HR process and systems expert, demonstrating good judgment in investigating and resolving a wide range of business process and system related issues of moderate to complex scope.

·        Acts as a resource for ServiceNow HRSD system and design questions and recommends solutions; works with internal clients to identify, design, test and implement new systems or improvements to existing systems and associated processes and procedures.

·        Coordinates with HR team members and others to analyze and meet information needs through production of established reports or utilization of various tools and applications to develop new reports.

·        In partnership with others, develops and conducts ongoing training associated with technology and process changes.

 ·        Performs other related duties as required and assigned

This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site at least two times a week, and as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the “home office” location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.

Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $76,200  $158,800 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between the minimum and midpoint of this range.

Job Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance and / or equivalent experience / training.

·       5+ years’ experience in a Human Resources department supporting various HR process and/or system initiatives.

·       Thorough knowledge of HR operations processes with an analytical approach to enhancing the employee experience. Experience in optimizing and automating HR processes.

·       Experience training HR professionals on process and system topics.

·       Experience working with an HR case management system.

·       Experience designing and implementing HR systems.

·       Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.

·       Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team.

·       Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

·       Knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles required.

·       Responds with a sense of urgency to immediate needs; completes assigned tasks within prescribed timelines, asks for help when needed.
