Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Histotechnologist 1! Your primary duties will include:

• Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens with H&E and special stains according to established protocols.

• Maintain quality control and other logs as necessary to uphold high standards of laboratory practice.

• Interact with faculty, residents, and grossing personnel to address any issues or concerns regarding test orders.

• Maintain a clean and properly maintained work area to promote a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Salary Range: $55.47 - $66.30/hour

Job Qualifications

• Must possess Histotechnician HT (ASCP) or Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP) certification.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).

• Have flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed.
