Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Westwood Clinical Laboratory is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Client Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional support across a wide range of laboratory service needs. Duties include:

Answer and triage incoming calls, providing prompt assistance and exceptional customer service.

Respond to inquiries regarding service issues, test information, supplies, and requests for clinical or anatomic pathology reports.

Manage follow-up on test cancellations and outstanding clinical pathology requests.

Coordinate the return of consult slides/blocks, and oversee report printing and distribution.

Maintain and fulfill laboratory supply inventory; process client supply requests.

Accession molecular and cytogenetic tests.

Collect billing information for consult cases.

Prepare professional correspondence, spreadsheets, and documentation.

Provide back-up support for slide sorting and distribution.

Assist with photocopying, file maintenance, and incoming/outgoing mail handling.

Salary Range: $34.41/hour - $45.38/hour

 

Job Qualifications

At least 2 - 3 years of Client Services or related experience in a clinical laboratory environment.

Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED or HiSET)
