Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Hospital Laboratory Technician Trainee, you’ll train in the Cytogenetics lab, learning how to perform sample processing, reagent preparation, and how to repair laboratory instruments. This role provides you with hands-on laboratory experience, paving the way for eligibility to apply for a Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist (CCGS) license.

Note: This is a limited position and will not convert to career. 

Salary Range: $36.67 - $48.39/hour


Job Qualifications

• California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist (CCGS) Trainee license

• Bachelor’s degree
