Under the direction of an Application Manager, the Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications. The Analyst is responsible for the design, build, test, and support of new applications and modules within the portfolio and/or service line. The Analyst must achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application. The Analyst works with business owners, vendors, and other ISS team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests.
The Analyst has responsibility of following applications: Conference Room Scheduler, DUO Device Enrollment, eForms, External Web Paging, Historical Lab Result, iCAP/PODS, iMedConsent, Meducation, PHI Tracking, PolicyStat, Radiology website, ROIStatus, ScoRe and UpToDate CME.
This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence at least once a month or as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the “home office” location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.
Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $83,800- 179,400 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between $83,800 - $130,000 annually.

Required Skills and Abilities
· Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas. Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
· Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision making.
· Must be detail oriented and have a knack for probing for information, to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be configured/ organized.
· Ability to decide priority of assigned tasks and manage multiple and competing tasks.
· Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels.
· Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation.
· Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train, support, and work collaboratively with business owners, team members, and management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
· Demonstrate sufficient programming skills and understanding in areas such as .NET, Java, Linux shell scripting, SQL syntax and tools, Window OS and its commands, Open-Source platform, IBM WebSphere platform, and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
· Demonstrate proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems.
· Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design.
. Bachelor’s degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
