As our Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations and staff within Interventional Radiology, ensuring compliance with policies, training new technologists and supporting department goals. The role includes administrative duties such as scheduling, performance evaluations, staff meetings and policy development. Clinically, you will assist with complex Interventional Cardiology procedures, provide direct patient care and ensures proper equipment usage and documentation. We expect that you serve as a liaison between staff and leadership, stepping in for the Nurse Manager or Director as needed. You will be expected to support all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health.

Salary Range: $49.09 - $109.05 Hourly

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of recent Interventional Radiology procedural area experience – required
  • ARRT license – required
  • CRT license – required
  • ARRT VI certification – required
  • Fluoroscopic permit – required
  • BCLS Certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
  • Radiologic Technologist School graduate - required
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position; must be able to move over 35lbs. and wear 25 lbs. of lead apron - required
  • Ability to operate a variety of IVUS and FFR equipment
  • Ability to work the posted schedule and “on call” as set up by the department with a response of 30 minutes for call back cases
