Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under general supervision, this role provides essential support to the therapy and patient care team by assisting with patient movement, treatment setup, and day-to-day clinical operations. The position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients, while supporting clinicians with both hands-on care activities and clerical tasks. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone interested in healthcare, rehabilitation, or patient services who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and is eager to learn on the job.

Salary: 24.05-30.28/hr

Job Qualifications

  •  BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
  •  Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including repetitive movement, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, assisting with patient transfers, and transporting patients via wheelchair or gurney.
  • Ability to assist with patient care activities using appropriate safety, infection control, and emergency procedures, with training provided as needed.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, exercising sound judgment, requesting assistance when needed, and supporting team priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation, with the ability to read and understand medical records.
  • Ability to perform clerical and departmental support duties, including use of basic office equipment, computer systems, and maintaining clean, organized treatment areas.
