As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:
- Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders
- Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed
- Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations
- Perform accurate image archival
- Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media
- Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient
Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

Job Qualifications

OR
- ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) – required
- Venipuncture certificate – required
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
- Graduate from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program – required
- AA or BS – preferred
- At least 1 year of MRI experience – preferred
- Siemens experience – preferred
- Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
- Ability to identify contraindications for exams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
- Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
- Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
