The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to evaluate patients and establish treatment in accordance with the CA Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725. The NP will provide emergency medical screening examinations and treatment according to departmental and hospital policies, coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, and make appropriate referrals for safe continuity of care. The NP must promptly document services rendered in the medical record.
Salary range: $89.06- $127.19/hourly

Required:
- BLS from AHA or ARC, ACLS, PALS from AHA, CA RN an CA NP state license, Masters/ Doctoral Degree in Nursing, National Board Certification in NP Specialty required
- State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II,NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- required
- Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
- Ability to set priorities-required
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
- Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
