Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join a collaborative team in our Newborn Nursery Services. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives. This position is for an experienced Nurse Practitioner that manages and is responsibile for all newborns in the newborn nursery in collaboration with an Attending Physician.  

Salary range: $89.06-$127.19/hourly

Job Qualifications

Successful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program-required

CA NP, NPF, and CA RN license-required

NPI# and DEA#-required

Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required

National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NNP or Ped Acute Care NP) -required

Previous relevant NP experience -required

BLS, NRP, and PALS certification form American Heart Association-required

Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required

Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required

Ability to set priorities-required

Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required

Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
