Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Administrative Supervisor/Operations Manager is responsible for human resource, financial and general operations management for the Center for Nursing Excellence, and serves as direct supervisor to administrative staff supporting the website, palliative care and float/modified duty teams. The Operations Manager provides comprehensive executive-level administrative and analytical support to the Executive Director of The Center for Nursing Excellence, including serving as liaison between the Executive Director and internal and external parties. The Operations Manager provides human resource, financial and data management, including reporting, analysis, creation and implementation of cost-effective methods that integrate the department and institution's organizational goals and objectives; and serves as a resource for the department’s operational needs. The Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of special projects/appreciation events and creation, analysis and reporting on a variety of enhancement tools designed to improve process and outcome management activities for the Department and Leadership programs.


Salary: $83,800 - $179,400 Annually

Job Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years progressive administrative leadership experience
  • Broad knowledge of the organization's processes, protocols and procedures with a focus on budget, account and fund management and / or personnel management under labor contract(s) and personnel policy.
  • Broad knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques; human resources and risk management planning; and / or accounting and payroll.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence / persuade all levels of staff.
  • Skills in organization and customer service to effectively manage multiple important priorities. Proven ability to organize department work functions in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Broad knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Skills to work collaboratively with other locations.
  • Proven skills to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify multiple options for resolution.
  • Demonstrated management and conflict resolution skills to effectively lead and motivate others.
