The physician assistant (PA) functions in an interdependent role via a delegation agreement. By using the delegation agreement the PA is able to evaluate patients and establish treatment after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings. The PA will provide emergency medical screening examinations and treatment according to departmental and hospital policies, coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, and make appropriate referrals for safe continuity of care. The PA must promptly document services rendered in the medical record.
Salary range: $74.95- $100.86/hourly

- BLS from ARC or AHA , ACLS, PALS from AHA, CA PA state license, Masters Degree as Physician Assistant, National Board Certification- required
- NPI #, DEA #,Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- required
- Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs.-required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
- Ability to set priorities -required
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-requiredDocument patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
