Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join a nationally recognized leader in mental health care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing complex behavioral health challenges. Our Neuropsychiatric Hospital is seeking a part-time Therapist to support our Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This is a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will serve as a primary therapist responsible for developing, implementing, and managing individualized treatment plans for patients participating in our intensive outpatient program. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and other clinical professionals to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Salary range: $55.63/hr - $73.40/hr

Job Qualifications

Current Valid CA License (LMFT, LCSW, or PhD/PsydD)
Advanced degree in mental/behavioral health field
Demonstrated experience in both mental health and substance use disorder treatment
Solid understanding of CAMFT and APA ethical standards and scope of practice
Knowledge of relevant psychiatric diagnoses, including presenting symptoms, and typical treatment approaches
Strong understanding of psychosocial factors influencing the development and treatment of mental illness
Ability to complete psychosocial assessments effectively and efficiently
