The Principal Surgical Technician facilitates services’ operative schedule (elective, add-on, and emergency); acts as a liaison between room staff, instrument room managers, instrument room staff, and the Charge Nurse; facilitates care and processing of surgical instruments; supports department efficiency initiatives; functions in the Certified Surgical Technician role as needed.
Salary range: $45.19- $59.62

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated professional with:
· Minimum 5 years acute hospital (Operating Room) or equivalent surgical experience required.
· CST required.
· BLS required.
· Working knowledge of the use, function and operation of all operating room equipment.
· Working knowledge of aseptic technique.
· Working knowledge of surgical procedures including anatomy and correct terminology.
· Ability to provide information, explain policies and procedures to team members.
· Ability to set priorities, recognize emergency situations and take appropriate action under the direction of the nurse in charge.
