Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Support the Office of the Patient Experience with complex data analysis, quality improvement, and decision support. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct advanced analysis on patient satisfaction, departmental practices, and quality improvement data. Develop systems and tools to present data insights for informed decision-making.
  • Lead the creation of a CRM for patient feedback, collaborating with IT and senior leadership to ensure data integrity and efficiency. Facilitate the use of CRM insights to address patient needs across the organization.
  • Establish and oversee PFACs, recruit and train advisors, and communicate patient concerns to relevant departments. Develop metrics to track PFAC impact, ensuring compliance with health system policies and CMS guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates on PFAC initiatives, deliver presentations, and represent UCLA Health at conferences on patient engagement.
  • Oversee PFAC budget and monitor expenses.
Salary Range: $89,930-123,443/year 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Business, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, including creating reports and developing metrics.
  • Experience in CRM development and implementation, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills for interpreting complex data.
  • Proficiency in data management systems and CRM tools.
  • Strong technical skills in data visualization software, such as Tableau or Power BI, and statistical tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with senior leadership, IT, and patient-facing staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Budget management experience, especially in tracking expenses and reporting on financials.
