The Cath Lab Clinical Nurse II (CN2) embodies the essence of professional Registered Nursing, assuming both responsibility and accountability for patients within a designated time frame. Utilizing the nursing process and collaborative input from the healthcare team, the CN2 delivers comprehensive care. They exemplify the professional standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA), actively engaging in ethical considerations, educational endeavors, evidence-based practice, and research. Additionally, they champion quality improvement initiatives, demonstrate leadership prowess, foster collaboration among peers, evaluate professional practice, optimize resource utilization, promote environmental health, and advocate for patients as integral components of clinical nursing practice.
