The Registered Dietitian provides comprehensive medical nutrition therapy across outpatient settings, with specialized expertise in organ transplant care, including liver, renal, small bowel, lung, and heart programs. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough nutritional assessments; developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized care plans; documenting patient progress; and performing ongoing reassessment to ensure optimal outcomes.
This role delivers both individual and group education to patients, families, and caregivers, supporting understanding of nutrition-related needs and long-term health management. The Dietitian also coordinates appropriate referrals for continued care upon discharge within the UCLA Health network.
Salary Range: $49.73-58.00/hourly

Job Qualifications

- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Completion of bachelor’s degree by accredited college or university
- Transplant experience
- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician certification (CNSC)
