Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position provides clinical research support and analytical expertise for the Genitourinary Oncology Service and Clinical Trials Unit under the direction of senior leadership. Responsibilities include developing and managing research databases, performing biostatistical analyses, and preparing study findings for scientific presentations, manuscripts, and grant submissions. The role requires a solid understanding of scientific research methods, biostatistics, and programming techniques used to analyze clinical data, and offers the opportunity to contribute to high impact oncology research.

Salary: $33.96 - $69.54 hourly


Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Demonstrated data management skills and experience
  • Ability to extract data and organize large databases
  • Ability to troubleshoot data abstraction challenges
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to establish and maintain accurate records and data entry
  • Ability to prepare data for publication and grant applications
  • Ability to generate figures and tables for manuscript publication
  • Ability to write technical material in scientific language
  • Skill in conducting literature search and retrievals, both through use of bioscience library and on-line service
  • A Bachelor’s Degree related to biostatistical or computational sciences or similar, or a combination of equivalent education, training and experience
